Compliance postings are real and they would show up here as postings that stay open and then close without a repost. The data cannot separate that from an ordinary slow hire, so the report does not claim to. What it does say is that a posting closing within a week (14.6% of closures) is almost certainly a real role filled fast, and a posting that has been up 300 days at an employer whose whole board looks like that is something a reader should check before applying, which is why every named employer links to its own postings.
