I considered their manual mill when I first wanted to get into CNC but then realized that a manual mill makes no sense for anything really anymore. Anything short of a CNC is a waste of time.

I have a manual mill and CNC and use them in roughly equal proportion. They make plenty of sense -- especially if it's a hobby and you don't want to use another computerized thing. Manual machining is very zen.

Plus their machinery is a bit more realistic for a hobbyist.

Blondihacks is a favourite along w/ Clickspring and Pask Makes. Haven't found occasion to watch Artisan Makes yet, but it is queued up for the future.
