I don't think it's more or less common, pretty much any code base I inherited prior to AI had serious problems.


Are you saying you've never had an experience even somewhat like this while working with Claude, or any LLM for that matter?


No, because as soon as it starts to go this way I just do it by hand or revert.

Specifically, I would never tell AI to revert. I just revert it in git and start a new thread.
