Is your favorite plant-based milk good for the planet (nationalgeographic.com)

I've enjoyed high protein ones more than common plant milks because they are a bit thicker. I usually get unsweetened versions of the basic protein versions you see in grocery stores. Iirc traditionally soy drinks tend to be a fair amount thicker than what the west tends to get with plants milks (and cow milk tbf) and that's something I can definitively get behind.

One thing I've noticed too is that chocolate plant milks tend to be a lot more chocolatey than grocery store milks which tend to feel watered down and kind of disappointing.

I have been consuming dairy products for nearly 70 years and have experienced abdominal cramps after meals, but I hadn't made the connection until recently.

In the Western world, 20% of people are lactose intolerant, whereas this figure can reach 65% elsewhere.
