Verified profiles get money based on engagement rate of their posts, only from other verified profiles; I don't think I need to tell you the quality of said posts, AI slop included.

They are literally getting money (not making) without producing anything and that aligns with Elon's world view of a jobless civilization driven by AI and robots.

Maybe what they're producing is net negative value at the societal level, but (unfortunately?) they're not producing nothing.
