That's the second glitch for google in a very short time.




Have you seen this article about the legal eloquence that Google has in their SLAs?

No, I had not seen that. That's pretty ugly actually, when my own services are down for more than a minute I have a very bad knot in my stomach and I would not dare to point at my (non-existent) sla to say, see, I told you this was ok.

In the future, I think track record and transparency of SLA's will be the deciding factor when it comes to application services hosted by third parties.


I run a free service that earns me nothing at the moment, and it has crashed occasionally at 2 or 3AM and I dutifully got out of bed and fixed it. That stomach knot you speak of is one I know and dread.
