On: Neill Blomkamp's new zombie AI 'film' is just slop warmed over

District 9 was a decent action film, and felt like something different. Like Idiocracy, District 9's actual political commentary was very on the nose, but that didn't detract from it. It was very reminiscent of "Alien Nation" in some ways.
