I think this article undersells the fret TBH. People fret about all kinds of things, micro and macro. Certainly, widescale unemployment, economic depression, multi year, multi-generational joblessness is the big dread, but pretending people aren't concerned for their own role under AI displacement, is a bit odd.

Journalist got to Journ I guess.


The whole point of AI is to displace workers, right? Isn't that why businesses are rushing to join the bandwagon? Why would this be a surprise?
