Indignation is anger plus self righteousness. Social media companies get the best return on content which is both shocking and serves their confirmation bias.

"This thing you already hate is just as bad as you already thought."

I bring this up because this headline is like a mad libs of indignation designed to target a subset of people that I'm not far from.

Separate from the story, how come the use of mental health services as a tool of punitive discipline against anybody whose opinion has cooties has apparently increased in lockstep with the mainstreaming of mental health awareness?

This is bad. Instead of this juvenile behavior Oracle should have offered those employees to seek employment at place more aligned with their values.
