I've always been under the impression that nofollow doesn't really matter if you're linking to your own site and then redirecting. However, I can't seem to find support to back up this claim...

Edit: I noticed Hacker News direct links. But, does anyone have any thoughts on my previous comment?

Search engines give credit to 301 redirects, so it depends on how you handle those redirects.
