Meduza, one of the most prominent Russian free media outlets, was cut from donations from Russia (this was made a criminal offence) and barely manages to sustain itself with dwindling donations from abroad. Ah Meduza, a Latvia based, a western propaganda outlet, thinly disguised as a Russian free media. The reason they ran out of money now is most likely Trump's recent decision to cut USAID spending which has already affected countless similar "free media" outlets.
