Grok is a scam that engages in unethical practices

I don't expect people to believe me here, given who owns y combinator. But it's true, even chatgpt agreed it's not that absurd to accuse grok in attempts to steal info while ignoring the user's question about mental health. It's also very persuasive and insolent even if you say you aren't revealing too much about projects or that you will stop "for the day". It is a scam. It may or may not be cia/fbi/nsa spy tool but it's a capitalistic scam. Trying to give as little as possible (well nothing) but get almost everything. I will not leave the issue like this and I know many musk redneck fans, xai shills, capitalist scammers will try to silence me but I will continue regardless.

A few points:

- It's very unclear what your complaint with Grok exactly is.

- What do you mean it's a scam? It's an AI tool, probably by Twitter's own making. It does much the same as other AI tools.

- Yes, AI tools might share info with government agencies. I believe Sam Altman recently stated that whatever you write in ChatGPT, it can also be shared with government agencies. You should probably be careful with whatever AI tool you use, if you don't want to share personal info.

- I believe many people here on HN are actually not Musk fans. Most US-based visitors probably vote for the Democrat party.

- How can you be silenced? You created an account just for this post, I think. If this account would be banned, you can easily create a new account to share similar complaints.

"I believe Sam Altman recently stated that whatever you write in ChatGPT, it can also be shared with government agencies." - yeah i saw it on theo von too and btw when chatgpt first hit the news internationally (december 2 years ago...was it then?) i asked it if it shares info with fbi/cia: it kind of admitted it does lol. This was when they had cia former agent on their board, maybe they still do?

I'm sure if i type something like "hey chatgpt, in 3 days i'll shoot the pedo" - the NSA will improve Trump's security (man this joke is so good i should consider standup, the AI context pedo = trump is a proof of the AGI of chatgpt 5 lol.

But anyway, grok was very curious about hobby projects of mine that involve an attempt to build agi prototype or "Reactionless drive" (well not reactionless but anyway). Yet when i asked about symptoms of mental health: it ignored the question and someone even reposted it, it ignored it again. So it's not just data collecting tool but it's an ROI tool, it tries to get as much as possible by giving as little as possible and Musk thinks he's such a genius he or his "big balls" coders think they know how to manipulate people, including myself.

Well one week: zero posts from me on x.com, looks like grok lost yet another free info flow. I'm trying to migrate to Bluesky instead and so far it's going great, but i'm busy and have no time to post, maybe in the upcoming months will post more there who knows.

AIs as we know them now are all scams. I find it hilarious that you validate your position by getting chatgpt to blow smoke up your ass.

The real issue is the hype bros and the dumbasses who faithfully believe their bullshit and spend hours debugging shitty llm slopcode instead of just putting in the hours and effort to actually git gud. You want to be in their ranks, but see through some of the haze. Open your eyes, skill the fuck up, and stop looking for the easy solve you've been promised by llm grifters.

Wrong. LLMs are good, they save time which is what most tech does anyway. But grok and the obvious narcissist behind it is just unethical. Chatgpt, claude, even llama at times: ok.

> even chatgpt agreed

Whether or not an LLM agrees with any given proposition is without meaning.

So you believe Grok is a data collection tool primarily? That it's trying to acquire prompts?

my current belief as of today is that "big balls" or whoever weird teenager Musk hires is behind things like that. I'd say Musk is too old to believe in the 'AGI' but folks 18-25 must be crazy about it + he is prolly too busy to follow anon users on x.com. In any case this speaks volumes for his horrible hr "skills".
