Basically just go to developer options and enable Linux development environment. A Terminal app will be installed.

You just need a non-Snapdragon Android phone. Because Snapdragon uses a different hypervisor than other vendors.


Didn't find the "Linux development environment" option. I guess the article is based on a Pixel phone, and not all Android 15 ROMs are equal.


Yes, not all ROMs support it in Android 15. But Android 16 is supposed to enable it in every phone.
