I find the writing style grating. It’s like a LinkedIn post or a transcript of a viral TikTok.

Strange. It's how I write. I'm not on Linkedin much nor on TikTok, would you mind telling me more about what you find grating about my writing style? Maybe I need to change something. (Chris)

Don't change anything on account of my personal taste. Here's a reddit post about the "LinkedIn writing style": [0]. It reads like a series of cliffhangers that never lead anywhere. It sounds like this [1] and feels like this [2].

Again, that's really just my opinion and you should not take this too seriously.

Those are great examples. I understand what you mean a bit better. And don't worry, I won't change my entire writing style based one person's opinion, but I can improve it where it makes sense for me. The reason I write this way is from my personal belief that most people don't read paragraphs (myself included) and so I sprinkle in short lines to break the flow (because those are the ones I would read first).

You're right about that. Paul Graham talks about "sanding" your writing - smoothing the rough edges - and that fits how I work. Basically, just reread and re-sand until the text just flows. Simplify the idea until no word can be removed. Swap out sentences until you find the perfect expression.
