And the NY Times continues to miss the forest for the trees. "A.I." isn't doing anything. It's just a tool. People are using these tools to help accelerate the destruction of Democracy that's been going on for at least the last 20 years.
People make the tools. People use the tools. People will always be at the core of everything that's happening because without people, none of this would even exist.
I would argue that is just human nature. When has it been different? We’ve always been divided by “beliefs”, before that was usually religion, now it’s various left/right talking points which are taken as a creed.
