My take is that underneath the polish and functionality, what all these tools really do, is to impose a very specific workflow on its users. Peoples workflows differ a lot, so some tools will match some people better than others. In the end, most people will realise that either A) nothing quite works for them or B) will change their workflow to that which their chosen tool imposes.
