I find that having a "DevOps Team" is an organizational anti-pattern. I still believe "DevOps" means to join development and operations into a single entity, because it makes no sense to do it in any other way.
It might make sense when monolithic systems are so enormous that no single dev team can manage them, but that's another anti-pattern.
