It's an informative video, but doesn't come to a very sessinct explanation of what the host means by the death of capitalism, and that's no minor event, so I'd expect something clearly delineating that it's happening.
Rome burned, but as an empire it persisted and slowly decayed until the last embers of the empire were snuffed out.
In this case the death of capitalism means the slow erosion of market principals, free trade, workers rights etc until what's left is simply a post-capitalist oligarchy. Maybe the inciting event will be protestors violently put down after threatening someone too wealthy, or mobilizing the police for their own paranoia or the steady collapse of our retirement benefits.
There are parallels between Leon Skum and Marcus Licinius Crassus. When a government fails to meet the needs of its citizenry and instead merely extracts value from, and abuses them, they become far less willing to be a part of it.
