Department of Education has a ratting-on-liberal-teachers form (ed.gov)

This form is an official US Department of Education form to "whistle-blow" on teachers who mention anything remotely related to diversity and inclusion. Several teachers I know are having daily anxiety attacks because of this. They are afraid parents and students will report them with either real or imagined claims if they don't act in a certain way, inside and outside the classroom.

This form was created from lobbing by Moms for Liberty. The Southern Povery Law Center has described Moms for Liberty as "a far-right organization that engages in anti-student inclusion activities and self-identifies as part of the modern parental rights movement. The group grew out of opposition to public health regulations for COVID-19, opposes LGBTQ+ and racially inclusive school curriculum, and has advocated books bans."

This form is a threat to the livelihood and safety of teachers. Please pass this URL around to anyone you think can help provide more reports to stuff their inboxes past usefulness.

Hardly a new development:

(If you don't trust the news site, the article itself links to the government webpages of all these bias response hotlines, so you can trivially verify their claims)

Just FYI this is a white page with "Access denied" in small letters for all of the world but one country. Not a great submission for an international website?

I like that it has MS and Google Telemetry.. so many people watching.

The description that it's "to "whistle-blow" on teachers who mention anything remotely related to diversity and inclusion" is a bit hyperbolic - the exact language on the site is:

The U.S. Department of Education is committed to ensuring all students have access to meaningful learning free of divisive ideologies and indoctrination. This submission form is an outlet for students, parents, teachers, and the broader community to report illegal discriminatory practices at institutions of learning.

The concern isn't theoretical - after orders to disband DEI departments, some schools simply renamed them to "community" departments or similar, and kept all the staff: https://www.insidehighered.com/news/government/state-policy/...
