Lots of CEOs wouldn't be where they are unless they were ignorant of the math that great CEOs wield intuitively, whether they had any business school background or not.
There are plenty of fully remote companies that dominate their niches (Crowdstrike, Coinbase). Leadership doesn’t care.
The mistake is thinking that some leadership will change their minds when presented with evidence. That just causes most people to double down rather than admit being wrong.
You see this all the time in regards with things like politics and culture. Why would business be any different?
Fair enough, but I was imagining that they need to take over an industry on the backs of fully remote talent, and become the toast of HBR. The business world may not care about evidence, but they are obsessed with following trends first and foremost.
