Hi HN! Ben and I, roommates at Caltech, built an app (Mupt) that turns any sports query into a podcast:
- You ask a question (e.g., "What happened in last night's NBA games?")
- Our system researches it (stats, play-by-play data, articles)
- Generates a script
- Converts it into a podcast
Right now it works best for game recaps - ask about last night's games and get a 5-10 minute breakdown for your morning commute. The analysis is still basic but improving.
This is very early (only a few beta testers) and we're curious:
- What sports questions would you want answered in podcast form?
- When/where would you listen to these?
- What length feels right?
