Nahhh, Musk will have it figured out in 6 months. I know it's true because he said so (s).

Human drivers are better because many are bad at basic math.

They often don't fully consider depreciation and maintenance on their vehicle. And many of them don't carry commercial insurance which puts them at increased financial risk in an accident. They often fail to fully account for time consumed by the return trip. All of which become more prevalent and significant with increased miles and time on the road.

These "hidden costs and risks" are often absorbed by unsuspecting drivers in the ride share lottery --- which only works to benefit the ride sharing platform.
