The "so much worse" starts around minute 9:30. The terms-of-service say the TV has to be the main TV of the house, has to always be connected to the internet and any attempt to get around the limits (adblocker, modification) allows the company to take the (free) TV back or charge $1000 USD to the credit card. You wouldn't just get a TV but be subject to a strict contract with a company that might send lawyers your way and risk a high fine. His recommendation, obviously: don't get one, you never own it.
