I built Quizzer to solve a problem I’ve struggled with: we consume a ton of great insights from podcasts, but don’t retain or apply them.
The Problem:
1. Podcasts are passive consumption.
- Episodes don’t pause for reflection, and most people don’t take notes.
- Even if you hear something valuable, the episode keeps going, and you forget to act.
2. No natural retrieval mechanism.
- Listeners rarely revisit old episodes.
- Without recall & reflection, even the best ideas fade fast.
3. Application requires intentional effort.
- Many insights are useful only if acted upon, e.g. protocols for health & fitness
The Solution: Quizzer
Quizzer lets you generate short quizzes from podcasts to reinforce key takeaways. Just drop in a link, and it creates questions to test your recall.
- Turn passive listening into active learning.
- Strengthen retention through self-testing.
Would this be useful for you?
I’m testing whether there’s demand for this kind of tool. Would love your thoughts!

I'm also open to feedback on other ideas I’ve thought of to solve the problem:
A podcast app that helps track and apply insights through intentional reminders (e.g., “Did you try cold exposure this week?”), quiz recaps generated for each episode that you can take on-demand, a way to easily view the transcript as you are watching the episode & bookmark insights.
Incorporating spaced-repetition into Quizzer through weekly quizzes that fuse insights from multiple podcasts you've listened to in the past week and earlier.
