It looks to me like a stretch to call it an Internet Standard since there's no RFC. Out of curiosity: why not use `/.well-known` namespace for this?


If people have to be told, it's not that well known, is it!

This thing is also not well known yet.

There is no way to introduce things into the .well-known namespace, because they start out not well known and thus don't belong there. Then by the time they are well known, they are stuck with whatever name they have.

If and when it becomes well-known, it can be moved there, and installations can issue an external redirect to it when the old name is accessed.


How come the committers are not visible? I only see User and User in the commits, with no links to profiles.
