I’ve been working on ItsLaunched.com, a simple and indie-friendly platform for product launches. It’s designed to reduce the noise and focus on meaningful discovery.

Here’s how it works:

Only 10 products featured per day to ensure quality exposure. Each user gets 2 daily votes to support products they truly believe in. Under Radar gives a second chance to a deserving product from the previous day. Makers can schedule launches up to 30 days in advance, with a fair, first-come-first-serve system. No pay-to-win schemes – just genuine engagement and community support.

The platform is currently in beta, and I’d love your feedback, especially from those experienced in launching products. You can try it out or list your own product here: itslaunched.com

Would love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or ideas to make this better!

How do you keep people from "gaming" your vote system?

Right now, I’ve limited votes to two per day per user to help keep things fair and prevent anyone from skewing the results. I’m also thinking about adding stronger user verification to cut down on fake accounts, but I’m still brainstorming on the best way to do that. On top of that, I’ve made sure to display voting data transparently on the product pages, so everyone can see which products are getting the most genuine support.

I’m always open to any suggestions or feedback on how to improve as this grow!

A small cost can reduce fake accounts. You could charge a $1 and then credit them with 10 votes for 10c.

If people want the game the system they pay you. Legitimate users would likely be ok with a 10 cents charge per vote.

Thanks for the suggestion! Charging a small fee to reduce fake accounts is an interesting idea. But the big question is whether enough users would actually be willing to pay, especially for something like voting. I’d need to weigh whether this fee could impact the user experience or the overall growth of the platform. It’s definitely something to consider as I continue to refine the system though—thanks again for the input :)

If your voting is gamed, then there is no trust in your system. Good luck.
