Somehow, COVID vaccinations became politicized, and then were excoriated by one US political faction. I saw that happen.
Why on earth are flu shots, and mpox shots now disfavored? I hesitate to ask if this is evidence based, because of the course of how COVID vaccination became taboo, and the amount of flat out gibberish about that vaccine that populates "common sense".
It was inevitable. COVID itself was politicized long before the vaccine was available. All along, the medical scientists themselves were the target, right from the point where they insisted it was a problem at all and not something that would vanish by Easter.
It was unavoidable that that would generalize to all vaccines. It is coming for the childhood vaccines, but flu and mpox are the next station on that trip.
Banning discussion of vaccines seems contrary to taking personal responsibility. If I don't know the facts (I'm not a medical professional or a virologist) I need to consult with an expert. I can't make a decision about my health this way. This is against conservative doctrine.
