Private Transcriber Pro: Works Offline, No GPU Needed (samontab.itch.io)

I've published a software called "Private Transcriber Pro", and I think some people here might be interested in it.

It's basically a ready to use package of some of the best transcription models in the open source world.

I made it so simple to use that you literally just drag and drop an audio or video file into it and you then get the transcription, which you can save as subtitles (.srt) or text (.txt). You can also adjust some settings such as how accurate/fast you want it to be, and if you want to translate other languages into English.

It works completely offline, and there are no subscription fees. You pay only once and you keep it forever, updates included!.

It also doesn't need any fancy GPU. You can run it with any computer. Check out the demo to see if you can run in in your machine.

Any future plans for linux support?

You can download the Windows version (try the demo) and run it in Linux with wine completely fine, i.e.:

  wine ./PrivateTranscriberPro.exe
I actually develop this in Linux using cross-platform code and build it for Windows when I do a new release.
