Edit: we changed the title to "Two undersea cables in Baltic Sea disrupted" since that's what that article now says.


And at the same time the cable between Lithuania and Sweden, interrupted in the same area.

Actually I use the Germany - Finland connection over ssh every day. And as a matter of fact because of tunneling even back and forth. So after reading the news in the European morning I was suprised that interactive working was still very smooth.

This cable is the only one between Germany and Finland and has massive bandwidth. It's one reason why Hetzner can have a data center in Finland, although a majority of their customers are located elsewhere.
