And then for the extremely destructive ones, force people to type in a word or wait X seconds as the button "arms" itself to prevent reflex clicking.


This is even more critical now that everyone except the privacy types is so used to quickly accepting boxes.

Boxes can also show up right under the mouse, so I'd say pretty much everything should have at least 1-2 reaction-times of delay.


I think the sort of adversarial UIs (like your privacy example) really have done a lot of harm.
