I do the same thing, but one additional step that I like to do is have a few daily habits that I try and do every day (in my case Mon-Fri) that are "connected" to my longer-term goals and ambitions. For example, one of my long-term goals is to learn how to play piano, so I have a daily habit of practicing for 25 mins. Another of my daily habits is to review my goal plan, just to keep it fresh in my mind.


Thanks Ryan for posting. Do you find that the time of the day matters? For example, do you practice on the piano first thing in the morning? I've found that the longer in the day I do something, the more chance I have of not doing it.
