Grid scale battery is just another word for a radioactive source in a powerplant. The battery life is basically double the half life. So cobalt60 fuel rod powerplants are the ultimate short term battery? Its basically a solid state energy breakthrough I expected to see on YouTube.

I do think redox-flow batteries are so cool. Something about these vast liquid resivours. The ability to filter out impurities & keep regenerating the battery as it would otherwise age... Neat. Example:
