Ask HN: Who is behind Problembo AI startup?

They provide an address that is located in a city in Georgia (the country) but not much more. Who are these people?

I don't know if this helps but there is a name Evgenii Viktorovich Sokolov listed under the offer page with a registered business id. Searching it didn't turn out nothing particular as there are many persons with the similar name. He is listed as self employed leading to ab assumption that this is a solo developer project.

The provided options are useful to a certain degree but there is nothing too fancy. I tried something that appears to be a diffusion model and it provides comparable results.

There are thousands of startups incorporated in all sorts of irrelevant locations that get made every year. Why does it matter to you?

Edit: I'm not going to post the reply you typed for posterity's sake, but discriminating against people who are just as likely Soviet expats that have no control over the war is a silly way to "get back" at a perceived enemy. Yes, Russia is bad. Avoid AI businesses altogether if you want to avoid suspicious products and you'll have dodged a number of chargebacks in the long-run. Turning this into an opportunity to virtue-signal is a mind-numbing exercise in racism.

I'm did not talk about Soviet expats but about possible active war supporters. Huge difference. And I want to be informed about this. Trying to turn this info some racism question is a load of bollocks.

I also explained in my deleted comment why this risk is higher in Georgia. Let's reiterate it then - many Russians emigrated to nearby Russian friendly countries to avoid conscription. This did not necessary happen because of their views. And even when their views are against the current government, these are not necessary against the Russian imperialism, like has been proven way too many times with multiple prominent examples like Navalny.

Now I really fancy how being against a form of racism (Russian imperialism) is somehow racist these days.

The product itself looks good from some aspects so I'll recommend to try it out.

Also many people don't care where their money goes. Unfortunately I'm not one of such people.
