Perhaps a better way to frame the problem with taxes would be to somehow invert the culture and narrative so that paying taxes was itself a sign of wealth, not how large your bank account is... i.e., the more throughput you facilitate flowing through the system, the more wealthy you are. Hah, yeah right...
