Everybody, yes everybody from Israeli security vendors that I have met claims membership in 8200. Some I believe, most not.
It’s destroyed the mystique.

People who have 8200 on their resume can easily back it up with photos and official documentation.

8200 is a huge unit with very varying levels of expertise. Most 8200 soldiers don't even do cyber/programming. I doubt its very easy to prove in specifics what you've done in 8200 or even allowed.
