Is any of this even surprising at this point? It's the name of the game in the US. Get elected, gerrymander your district, campaign every 2 or 6 years and get rich off the lobby money selling out your country. The US government is the most powerful in the world, which makes it the largest target for special interests. That means the US government is now an international organization representing special interests. Many of those special interests are governments. IsraelIsrael and China have more representation in congress than I do. Every single thing the government does it's members were paid to get done.
