Simple enough workaround. I don’t think the two outages are comparable

I don't think comparing a CloudStrike issue with first-party outages is a good idea either, I'm just answering the question in the headline.



Why not more desktop Linux? What apps REQUIRE Windows or macOS anymore (and why not just delivered via desktop/webtop app virtualization)?


Depending on your distro of choice: security patch interval.

This brings me no joy to write, just reality.
