How is corporate power derived from government power? Corprations usually exercise all the power they can until govt reins them in.



I'm expressly not opposed to trust busting, or anti-monopoly moves from the govt. I feel it's a fair trade for limitations on liability to company investors. Limitations on liability are a grant to corporations from govt. Certain resource constraints are limited/licensed by the govt (especially communications).

Beyond this, I feel that a primary lesson from COVID should be an emphasis on dual/multi sourcing and domestic production at least from a security standpoint. There are some levers that can be used by govt to promote this.
