Chipotle would regularly outright steal chip orders during the pandemic. That is, if you ordered a delivery from Chipotle and it contained chips, you would never get any chips, but they would still charge you for them. If you ordered nothing but chips you would get an empty bag! This occurred about ten times in a row in my limited sample. So I understand why they have this reputation.
