On: Let's stop counting centuries

I wonder at what point we can just assume decades belong to the current century. Will "the twenties" in the US always primarily mean Prohibition, flappers, and Al Capone or will it ever mean this decade?

I say give it 11 years or so for 2020's kids to starting come into age, and twenties babies will refer to babies born in the 2020's and not centenarians.
