Hypr-dynamic-cursors: a plugin to make your hyprland cursor rotate (github.com/virtcode)

This probably breaks my brains’ ability to predict the “hot” pixel, and is also really stupid and unnecessary. I want it

Pixels these days are too small anyhow

MacOS has a feature where you can shake/fling the mouse/your finger on the trackpad around and the cursor will get really big for a second so you can find it if it’s lost. Don’t remember if it’s on by default or an accessibility feature you can enable.

Maybe this could do something similar like fling the cursor around violently and it’ll start flapping and flailing around in circles from the turbulence to make it easier to visually locate on a big, cluttered screen.

Just do `mode = stretch` and enable effects on shake. Then when you start shaking the cursor, what you describe happens.

This is so incredibly stupid, it almost makes me want to switch to hyprland. Now if only there was a cute kitten chasing the cursor...

Thanks, I hate it.

Actually I love it. I think it's really cute and some of them like rotation can be made subtlety.

I miss the whimsey that's largely absent from computing these days.

I agree, this is great.

Maybe some of the particular features aren't the greatest, but why can't we make things more dynamic and, god forbid, fun? I always loved compiz wobbly windows and cube.
