Given openFPGA on the Analogue Pocket, if you can get one at msrp, the extra $20 makes that device seem like a way better value than this.

Note: I am going to set aside politics…

Agree a Pocket is more flexible, but this appears to be a love letter to the GameBoy Color. It has a magnesium body, sapphire crystal for the screen and they claim a custom LCD that works well in sunlight.

I have an Analogue Pocket. Great device, but has a very flaky cartridge slot that wipes save data. Everyone I know that has one has the same problem.

If this is better with real carts it’s already better than the Analogue Pocket in that regard. Guess we will have to see if they ever ship.

Awful site, calling a donation to one of the two US parties "controversial" just because they don't like it.

Why the anger? It created controversy, as any political donation can. That's a fact, and one of the things he's most known for by the average person - not a criticism of him.

Further, even if it was a criticism, it's not somehow wrong by definition to criticise somebody for a donation, since you can donate to anybody. People can be immoral - political leaders and advertisers included. If the body he donated too was overtly engaged in behavior one finds immoral, one may reasonably criticize him for it. One may also reasonably disagree with the determination of immorality. But you should do that - disagree - rather than pretend there's no given reason for a criticism.

He hid political donations, that's what's controversial. He probably should be investigated, because his political donations are to "the party of law and order" which is turning out to be "the party of lawlessness and disorder".

What do you think “controversial” means? Because it seems to be the correct usage to me.
