My journaling became a lot more reliable when I started writing on my laptop instead of in a journal. I was hesitant to do this because it didn’t have the same romantic feeling as writing in a book that people could read.
But when I started typing instead of writing by hand, I could get my thoughts out faster. I didn’t worry about planning out how I was going to say something because I could edit it. I could write pages instead of paragraphs (If I wanted to)
I know it’s not for everyone, but off handwriting is slowing you down, try typing. I really love Day One on the Mac. I’m sure there are plenty of similar apps across various platforms.
I did. And I was just sharing what worked for me. My point was that I started being successful when I stopped trying to shoehorn myself into what I thought journaling was supposed to be. What made you think I didn’t read it?
Totally agree. Don't feel bad if you skip days when you don't feeling it.
Doing Journaling now for 3 years and I love to go through old notes. Some are not relevant but some are pieces of gold.
