Lets say this is entirely true, but that he was badgered by Boeing and their counsel knowing that this is a likely outcome due to deteriorating mental health that he suffered through their actions, could they be considered accessory to suicide?
Is this the person that committed suicide by self inflicted gunshot to the back of his own head? Or am I mixing up whistleblowers who've committed suicides?
Why does it matter? Do you think it's impossible to commit suicide in that way? Do you think that the coroner has less information than you do about whether this is suicide or not? Do you think the coroner has less training and knowledge than you do in this area?
Or is it just that conspiracy theories are fun?
For reference, it is rare but not extremely so that people commit suicide with a gunshot to the back of the head. And in fact, you can find studies like https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38471138/ that explicitly go into ways to distinguish between a suicide and a homicide in such situations.
I don't even think you need a conspiratorial angle here.
Boeing has a lot of whistleblowers. At least 30 active whistleblower cases that I can find, let alone the hundreds of others they have had and closed in previous years.
So on one hand, it makes no sense that Boeing would just target a couple, especially from their non-beleaguered divisions.
And on the other hand, it still does not reflect well on Boeing that they have such a large pool of whistleblowers that coincidences like this could be very likely legitimate.
