Being North Carolina what this means is white people will be ignored for wearing masks in public for health purposes and black people will be harassed - and this law is providing the legal cover for the police to do so. As intended.
Can you give a few references? I did a quick look on Google and asked chatGPT. Leviticus 13 looks to be about leprosy (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Leviticus+13%3A...). Also, found some things other things about health but not really much about preventing the spread of infectious diseases. I would like to see more.
Edit: will add that Leviticus 13 does have a bunch about identifying leprosy and what to do about it when found. This includes isolating the person and wearing a mask.
