I made a tool to replace Vercel, Heroku and other cloud hosting solutions (cloud-station.io)

That looks really cool, but the pricing feels a bit steep especially for the entry level. AWS 10$ boxes offer 2 cores and 2 gigs of ram

A year ago, I was just another developer frustrated with the existing cloud hosting solutions. That frustration turned into a project: Cloud-station.io/?=hn , I've been using Vercel and similar deployment platforms extensively and noticed a pattern of challenges that seem to recur (pricing, scalability, built time, cold start, vendor locking), regardless of the project's nature. I'm curious to hear if others have faced these issues and how you've managed them.

It all started with a simple question: What if deploying applications could be as easy as a few clicks? If you appreciate the simplicity and speed of deploying on Vercel for front-end projects, you'll likely find CloudStation appealing because it extends that simplicity to other areas :

Unified Platform : By handling both front-end and back-end deployments in one platform, you reduce the overhead associated with managing multiple service providers and integration points. Docker Support: If you're using Docker, CloudStation can manage and deploy your containers, which is great for maintaining consistency in development and production environments.

Database Integration: Easily attach and manage databases within the same platform, streamlining the development and deployment process without the need for separate database hosting.

Instant Rollbacks and Previews : Similar to Vercel, CloudStation supports instant rollbacks and preview deployments, which can be crucial for continuous integration and testing. For teams or individuals who value a straightforward, consolidated approach to managing various parts of their applications,

CloudStation could indeed be a compelling choice. It offers a blend of simplicity and functionality that can help developers focus more on coding and less on the deployment and operational logistics.

I believe in building tools that empower developers rather than restrict them. If you’ve been looking for a cloud solution that feels like it was made by a developer for developers, I’d love for you to check out Cloud Station and share your thoughts!

For those interested in a platform that truly understands and addresses developer needs, I invite you to try out

Entrepreneurship is a crazy game.. Really not for everyone, if you start, BURN EVERYTHING!!!
