I Went Undercover as a Secret OnlyFans Chatter. It Wasn't Pretty (wired.com)

It's interesting how masculine the environment is. An environment that's ostensibly about one man and one woman is actually just the typical "coalitional violence" that men are so good at. Men working on teams to compete with and dominate other men. It reminds me of Joan of Arc. Joan of Arc herself wasn't impactful in battle - the battles were just teams of men fighting other men. But she was the figurehead around which the male team coalesced. Of note is that the article doesn't say how the chatters feel about the OnlyFans model herself. I would assume there's a range of emotions, and I wouldn't be surprised if part of the range includes worshipfulness or awe. Men love jihad, and jihad for the sake of a woman is one of the most satisfying reasons.

Makes me think about the movie her, where the main character write love letters for the clients of a website.

It makes me think about fraud statutes.
