You really have to be a fairly fluent EVE player to keep up with most of the battle description I think, but it was an entertaining story.
EVE is an interesting example of how a global game turns the players into factions that roughly correlate to their IRL timezones, which has a large impact on how the game plays out (see the bit about coordinating their attack so that it would be after midnight in Moscow).
Some Nazis/Nazi role-players were discovered in space reachable by a wormhole by players who don't like Nazis, determined by the names of their ships and structures (stations, storage, markets, etc). These players set about eliminating the Nazi menace.
They were having a rough time of it even with other people joining until the allies of the Nazis had a look at those ship and structure names and realized they were allied with Nazis. Those allies flipped and joined the attackers, and turned the tide of the war.
