All of that should not take years. When money is around it should be capable of being eaten alive. When Trump is president, maybe we can make America FAST again.


I doubt this really has anything to do with who is president, and more to do with American local, state, and national bureaucracy not being very nimble. Even Trump couldn't make projects rain from the sky.


Some presidents might be better or worse at getting things done but I do not really think Trump would be better. He has a long history of projects that failed (sometimes questionable \ criminal intent).

We should expect more from congress and the bills that are being written. The office of president was meant more as oversight (checks and balances) and less supreme leader.


I mean, sure, Trump could probably get things going with some graft, but I don't see it as something to aspire to. Even congress has limited ability, our government simply has lots of friction that no one is really interested in reducing yet.
