I'm quite taken aback to be viewing a Google website where the 5.8MB images are loading at a crawl, because they're completely unoptimised pngs equal in size to bmps of the same resolution!
Oh hey apparently there are some 26MB of mp4s that didn't load at first, they served a 2.4MB "Mobile" mp4 instead, so it's not all bad.
